My name is Andreas Myrup and I am a Student at Architecture & Design, Graphic Designer, Photographer, Ski enthusiast and an inspired get-doner/go-getter.
I have for a long time felt a great passion for design, whether it be in web, print, industrial design or architecture. My first encounter with this feeling happened in high school, where I through friends began designing posters, layouts for papers, small movie clips and webpages. After my 3 years in high school this great desire for design stuck with me and was something I wanted to explore further.
Even though the journey started in digital designs and the interwebs it ended in another direction of design - architecture. I started my education in Architecture&Design at Aalborg university in 2008 and after 3 years I finished my bachelor degree. Today I'm studying for my master degree (with a specialty in architecture). Though architecture is a bit different from my earlier days it has a lot of common denominators, which I try to use at the university. Communication is a big word in any design field, so being used to working with drawings and computer graphics have helped me a lot to get my message through.
In between my studies I have worked as freelance designer for different companies and added my touch to the graphic field. I'm always on the lookout for freelance graphic work or future internships (in architecture, autumn 2012).
Through my education and work have I learned the following programs:
